Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in the Western, Central and Sabaragamuwa provinces and in Galle and Mathara districts after 2.00 p.m, stated the Meteorology Department.
Heavy showers about 100mm can be expected at some places in the above area.
Light showers will occur at Northern and the Eastern provinces in the morning too.
General public is requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers
