A suspect with two kilograms of Ice worth Rs. 20 million was arrested in Pinkanda, Dodanduwa in the Hikkaduwa Police Division on Friday, Galle police said. The 28-year-old suspect has rented his vehicle to the Southern Provincial Council.
An investigation was launched into the assets he has reportedly accumulated in the past few years. A police team led by Galle Police Crime Branch OIC IP Dinesh Nishantha under the instructions of Galle SSP Vikum Ginige arrested the suspect.
