The isolation status in several areas in Colombo and Gampaha District will be lifted from 5am tomorrow, said the Army Commander Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva.
The Borella, Wellampitiya, Colombo Fort, and Slave Island police areas in Colombo District and Ja-Ela, Kadawatha police areas in Gampaha District wil be reopened.
The following areas will remain under isolation until further notice:
Colombo District: Mattakkuliya, Modara, Grandpass, Bloemendhal, Kotahena, Port area, Adirippu Street, Dam Street, Pettah, Keselwatta, Maligawatta, Dematagoda, and Maradana police areas
Gampaha District: Negombo, Wattala, Peliyagoda, Ragama, and Kelaniya police areas.
