The repatriation of Sri Lankans stranded overseas due to the coronavirus pandemic is set to recommence.
Army Commander Shavendra Silva said the process which was earlier temporarily suspended will recommence from next week.
The Head of the National Operations Centre for the Prevention of COVID-19 further said that the stranded Sri Lankans will be repatriated in batches.
Meanwhile, Director General East Asia at the Foreign Ministry, Kandeepan Balasubramaniam said 05 flights have been scheduled for the repatriation of stranded Sri Lankans. (NewsWire)
