The total number of recoveries from COVID-19 in the country surpasses 15,000 mark as per the Epidemiology Unit’s tally. It is at 15,447 and there are only 5,426 active cases being treated in various hospitals across the country.
The total count of positive coronavirus cases found in Sri Lanka currently sits at 20,967.
The country has also witnessed 94 deaths from the virus.
