Sixty- eight more employees of the toy factory in Kerawalapitiya, Wattala have contracted the coronavirus.
The Public Health Inspectors (PHI) Association said that a total of 117 employees have tested positive for COVID-19.
PCR tests have been conducted on all 803 employees, with the results of nearly 90% having been processed.
Forty-nine (49) employees of the factory were first detected to have contracted the virus in October.
The PHI Association added that over 500 coronavirus patients have been reported from Wattala so far and over 1500 are in self-isolation. (NewsWire)
