Water supply to certain areas in Colombo will be interrupted for 12-hours between 9:00 pm tomorrow (28) till 9:00 am. on Sunday (29), due to an emergency and urgent maintenance work, the National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) said.
The areas that will be affected by this are Battaramulla, Pelawatta and Akuregoda.
Accordingly, these areas will experience total interruption of water supply between the aforesaid period.
The NWSDB has requested the public to call the hotline ‘1939’ for further information.
