A Civil Officer attached to the Minuwangoda Police Station has contracted the coronavirus.
The National Operations Centre for the Prevention of COVID-19 (NOCPC) said the 55-year-old officer was employed at the canteen of the Police Station.
It has been confirmed that the officer’s son who is an employee of the apparel factory in Minuwangoda had earlier tested positive for COVID-19.
