Sri Lankan Ambassador to Turkey M. Rizvi Hassen paid a courtesy call on Turkish Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology Hasan Buyukdede on Tuesday.
The Deputy Minister expressed his willingness to exchange expertise in the field of science technology, establishment of free zones and industrial zones, and technological know-how on the SME sector.
He also requested to expedite signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the two countries’ Standards Institutions. Counsellor (Commerce) of the Embassy, Yoshitha Jayasuriya, and Director General of EU & Foreign Affairs at the Ministry of Industry and Technology, Mustafa Erdogan, also participated in the meeting.
