House raided, bogus driving licences seized

Udawalawa police raided a house in Karametiaara and seized a stock of bogus driving licences.

Two rubber stamps bearing the name of the Ratnapura District Commissioner of Motor Vehicles, a date stamp, two NICs, two driving licences, 15 applications for driving licences and 78 mg of heroin were also seized. 

The house owner was arrested. The police said that he is a drug addict. Udawalawa police are investigating.
