Forty-nine passengers, including schoolchildren were injured when a private bus skidded off Hatton-Dayagama road plunged into a precipice of 25 feet at Fordyce Estate area at around 6am today, the police said.
The injured were admitted to the Glancon Base Hospital.
Further investigations are being conducted.
