The Beruwala fisheries harbour has been closed temporarily until further notice after 10 persons tested positive for COVID-19.
100 random PCR tests at the fisheries harbour in Beruwala has been conducted yesterday in the light of reports on increasing numbers of Covid-19 infections connected to the Peliyagoda Fish Market.
Accordingly, 10 out of 16 PCR test was tested positive, health authorities said.
