Water supply to certain areas in Colombo will be either low or interrupted for 8-hours from 10pm tomorrow (Oct. 10) till 6am Sunday (Oct. 11) due to renovation work under the Greater Colombo Water and Wastewater Improvement Investment Program, the National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) stated.
The areas that will be affected by this are Colombo 01, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15.
Accordingly, Colombo 12, 13, 14 and 15 will experience total interruption of water supply, while Colombo 01 and 11 will have a low-pressure supply.
The NWSDB has requested the public to call the hotline ‘1939’ for further information.
