The Colombo Crimes Division on Saturday arrested two women of the same family from Maligawatte over a drug smuggling racket.
Police said that they were in possession of drugs worth Rs. one million. One of the women had 60 grams of heroin in her possession while other other had 20 grams of heroin in her possession.
Police said one of the suspect is a resident of Kolonnawa. Police also arrested a 70 year old woman with10 grams of heroin, 4 kilograms of Mawa, 29 packets of Cannabis based on the information provided by these two women.
