The owner of the building that collapsed in Buwelikada, Kandy recently was arrested today.
The Police said Anura Lewke was arrested by the Kandy Police at around 09.30 a.m.
A five-storied building collapsed trapping five people, including an infant, in the early hours of 20th September.
The Army rescued two people, while the 1 ½ month-old infant had died after being admitted to Kandy General Hospital.
The bodies of the parents of the child were later retrieved by the Army from the rubble. (NewsWire)
