The owners of the Crude Oil Tanker MT New Diamond have agreed to settle fully the interim claim of Government Stakeholders for Rs 442 Million, said the Attorney General’s Coordinating Officer State Counsel Nishara Jayaratne.
The decision was informed to Attorney General Dappula de Livera by the ship owners through their lawyers today.
