The National Operation Centre for the Prevention of Covid-19 had identified five positive cases by this morning.
All of them were those who had returned to the country from overseas.
Accordingly, One of them was a returnee from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) who was being quarantined at the Hotel Blue Water, one from Qatar who was being quarantined at the Jetwing Blue quarantine center, another three from Madagascar and Oman respectively were those who had tested positive for Covid-19 by this morning
Further, another 5895 persons are currently in quarantine at 59 tri-forces operated quarantine centres.
Another 22 COVID-19 positive patients who had made a complete recovery had been released from hospital by this morning.
