6,991 persons were undergoing quarantine at 67 centres belonging to the tri-forces as at this morning, the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 said.
A total of 44,817 had returned home after completing the quarantine process.
While 648 persons infected with COVID-19 at Kandakadu rehabilitation centre had been discharged from hospitals, two were still undergoing treatments.
