A Facebook post by former President Maithripala Sirisena with a comment is trending on Facebook in Sri Lanka with many using the comment he posted to post along with their pictures.
On Thursday, Maithripala Sirisena posted a picture of himself and posted the comment “After winning a tiresome challenge, one has to wait patiently for some time, in order to obtain its highest reward.”.
The post got more than 27,000 likes on Facebook including 8,000 haha reactions. It also had 4,700 comments and 3,300 shares as of Saturday.
Since then many have taken to Facebook to post Maithripala Sirisena’s comment along with a picture of them.
