The government plans to reduce the prices of many affordable drugs that are still at high prices.
State Minister of Pharmaceutical Production, Supply and Regulation Prof. Channa Jayasumana said, that the price reductions will be made within the next few weeks.
Meanwhile, he said that immediate steps will be taken to manufacture several drugs that have not been manufactured in the country so far.
