Fourteen foreign nationals have been arrested for staying in the country without valid visa and violating immigration and emigration laws.
Accordingly, thirteen Chinese and a Thai national were arrested by the Mount Lavinia Police at a lodge in De Seram Road in Mount Lavinia.
The suspects, aged between 20 and 44 years, have been handed over to the Mount Lavinia Police for further investigations.
They will be produced before the Mount Lavinia Magistrate’s Courts today.
