United National Party (UNP) Matara district candidate Achira Ilangamage crossed over to the Sri lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) today.
Achira Ilangamage met Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa today and extended his support to the SLPP.
He is the 3rd Matara district UNP candidate to join the SLPP during the election.
Earlier Chandana Priyantha and S. W. Premaratane who had submitted nominations from the UNP to contest from the Matara district also crossed over to the SLPP. (Newswire)
