UNP, SLFP have no voice in Kalutara – Harsha Gayasri

“The United National Party (UNP) and the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) had no voice in the Kalutara District,” Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) Panadura General Secretary and PS Councillor Harsha Gayasri Dilshan said.

He was speaking at a SLPP meeting in Panadura in support of Candidate Mahinda Samarasisnghe.

“Different registered political parties have field 276 candidates from the Kalutara District, but only eight candidates will be parliamentarians following the election,” he said. The SLFP stalwarts in Panadura have already joined the election campaign of former State Minister Mahinda Samarasinghe. “He had been removed from Chief Organiser post of the Panadura SLFP and SLFP supporters have joined the SLPP campaign to support him,” he said.
