Two companies delisted from CSE within a week

The Colombo Stock Exchange today (29) announced that it has delisted shares of PC Pharma PLC from the official list of the CSE in compliance with applicable regulations and procedures. This is the second company to be delisted from the official list of the CSE, in a week’s time. Earlier, on July 22, Entrust Securities PLC’s shares were delisted from the official list of the CSE. The Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) decided to suspend the trading of PC Pharma PLC on 02 April 2018 due to non-submission of Annual Reports to the CSE in compliance with CSE Listing Rules and Sri Lanka Accounting Standards. On 04 January 2016, the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) took steps to hand over the management of Entrust Securities PLC to a state bank due to several complaints on financial irregularities in the company. The Colombo Stock Exchange has 287 listed companies registered and 01 listed fund as at 29 July 2020.
