Former minister Chamal Rajapaksa said that Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) will have a tenfold victory at the forth coming election.
He was addressing an election meeting in Tissamaharama recently.
The former minister said that a massive propaganda campaign has been launched island-wide to gain a majority of votes.
The campaign was launched observing health rules and regulations to prevent spreading COVID 19.
He said that the farsighted policies of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa paved the way for the SLPP to win every voter’s confidence.
He said that although several quarters ask to postpone the election, they also now think that the country’s situation is suitable for holding the election.
