Public assistance sought over suspicious death of former Miss Sri Lanka Jennifer Ingleton

Public assistance has been sought over the suspicious death of former Miss Sri Lanka -1962 Jennifer Ingleton, the DailyMirror reported.

According to Tony Hawke, the brother of Ingleton, the latter, a 78-year-old widow, without any children and without any relations living in Sri Lanka had died under suspicious circumstances.

Hawke, who lives in England believes his sister could have been saved if proper medical attention was provided to her.

He further charged that his sister’s caretaker had deliberately refrained from seeking medical assistance in order to seize her assets in Sri Lanka.

The caretaker, who is said to have befriended Jennifer through dancing classes conducted by him, is accused of alienating her from visiting her friends and family in Australia after she was discharged from hospital last year.

Hawke further said he suspects that the caretaker did not allow doctors to visit and examine Jennifer.

Relations have revealed that Jennifer was barred from attending phone calls or visiting them after she became ill.

Attorney-at-law Ian Fernando said that the man now claims he owns Jennifer’s properties by a questionable last will, in which five persons had placed their signature without including their addresses.

Further inquiries at the Land Registry over the immovable properties of Jennifer have revealed that records pertaining to the property have disappeared.

A complaint has been launched with the Borella Police over this suspicious dealing, Fernando said.

Public assistance has been sought urging them to contact Fernando via 0722251749 -0112432097 or the Borella Police with any information in this regard. (Newswire)
