A suspect who had kept 6kg of Kerala Cannabis in his possession has been arrested in the Thuvarankulam area in Omanthai Police Division today by police .
The arrest was made by the Police Special Task Force officers in Cheddikulam in a joint operation carried out with Omanthai Police.
The suspect is a 29-year-old residing in Panikkarpuliyankulam, Omanthai.
He will be produced before the Vavuniya Magistrate’s Court today and Omanthai Police are continuing investigations.
