Second biggest cargo plane at Mattala

The Antonov AH 124-100, the World’s second largest cargo carrier landed at the Mattala International Airport on Saturday night. The cargo carrier which arrived from Johannesburg, South Africa is currently on a four-day break. Another smaller plane, a Gulfstream G200 carrying three marine engineers from Azerbaijan also landed in Mattala. The engineers are in Sri Lanka for repairs to a ship which suffered a technical failure at the Hambantota Port. All those who arrived were subjected to PCR tests at the airport.
