A 27-year-old-youth went missing after falling into the Sera Ella in the Knuckles Forest Range in Laggala while engaged in a pre wedding shoot on Sunday evening.
According to the Laggala Police sources, the newly engaged couple were doing a photo shoot, when the unfortunate incident occurred around 4 p.m. on Sunday. Eyewitnesses say they saw the young couple falling into a water passage.
Police suspect that the couple may have slipped and fallen off the cliff. However, a group of youth in the area managed to rescue the girl and Navy divers were also called in to find the youth. This couple was set to marry next month. Laggala Police are investigating.
