Dried Fish Curry | Cooking with Aunty D

Salty and crunchy, this Dried Fish Curry is the perfect side dish to your midday meal!

 

 

 

Ingredients:

Dried Fish 200g

Capsicum 2 Nos

Green and Red Chilli 5 Nos

Nai miris 3 Nos

Onion 1 Medium

Garlic 3 Nos

Curry Leaves

Pandan Leaves (Rampe)

Tomato 2 Large

Fenugreek Seeds 1/4 Tsp

Turmeric Powder 1/4 Tsp

Chilli flakes 1 Tsp

Chilli Powder 1 Tsp

Curry Powder 1/2 Tsp

Maggi Thick Coconut Milk 1 Cup ( 2 Tbsp Maggi Coconut Milk Powder + 1 cup water)

Maggi Thin Coconut Milk 1 1/2 Cups ( 1 Tbsp Maggi Coconut Milk Powder + 1 cup water)

(1 1/2 Tbsp Maggi Coconut Milk Powder + 1 1/2 cup                                                          water)

Salt to taste.

 

Method:

1.Cut the dry fish and soak in boiling water to remove the excess salt (5 minutes)

2. Put capsicum, green and red chilli, nai miris,  1 onion, garlic, curry leaves, and pandan leaves (rampe), tomato, fenugreek seeds, turmeric powder, chilli flakes, roasted chilli powder, curry powder

3. Then add thick Maggi coconut milk

4. Add 1 1/2 cups of thin Maggi coconut milk
