Tarinda Ratwatte, a 24-year-old law student was arrested over the accident that killed a Police constable earlier today.
Police Constable Sithum Alahapperuma attached to the State Intelligence Services, who foiled the Rs.7.9 million robbery at the National Hospital few days ago died this morning while receiving treatment at the ICU of the National Hospital following a road accident at Bambalapitiya on June 11.
who drove the Defender vehicle which was involved in the accident that killed a Police constable was arrested.
Police say Driver of the Defender had been under the influence of liquor at the time of the accident.
After being produced in the court today, he was remanded till tomorrow.
