Clients Commend Dialog for great customer service during COVID-19 pandemic lockdown

Several corporate clients have come forward to commend Dialog for the continuous customer service that was extended to them even during the recent COVID-19 lockdown weeks. In a statement issued by one such entity Dialog’s service excellence was highly commended. “Our company was launching a couple of products that was of utmost importance to support the initiatives of both the government and private sector entities to identify and prevent the spread of COVID-19. But unfortunately due to the sudden pandemic lockdown and island-wide curfew imposed by the authorities, we were in a precarious situation of having to put together some vital but basic requirements to get our operation underway, such as a hotline to enable our prospective clients to communicate with us on an urgent 24×7 basis. Hence, we needed to obtain new mobile numbers and we managed to get in touch with Wansanatha Asmadala, Corporate Account Manager at Dialog. Under his instructions we were introduced to Gihan Ranganath Ranansinghe, Account Manager who was operating from home due to the lockdown. We told him of our requirement for 5 mobile SIMS/numbers for our operation and on understanding our urgency and importance, he together with his colleague Eshantha Nikathanna, Club Vision Relationship Manager went out of their way to help us in our dire need. They not only opened the Dialog office despite the high security and limited travel but also fulfilled our request with utmost efficiency”, the statement read. “Subsequently it was also a challenge to get the SIMS activated for immediate deployment. Hitherto, they were very responsible to do the needful in a very professional manner. We believe that a strong set of values, policies and principles was created by the company at the inception way back in 90’s under the able leadership of Dr. Hans Wijayasuriya. We feel that the same values, policies and principles are yet being carried out under the guidance of the current CEO Supun Weerasinghe and his exceptional team.
