Bohra chief and his close associates to spend time in Bandarawela

The Spiritual Leader of Dawoodi Bohra community Dr. Sayyedna Mafadhal Saif-ud-Deen and his 45 close associates, based in Mumbai, India, have made a request to the Government of Sri Lanka to allow them into the country.

Additional Secretary to the President Admiral Jayantha Kolambage stated that permission has been granted for them to enter Sri Lanka, and they will be sent to a hotel in Bandarawela under the health guidelines for Quarantine and they will be monitored closely by the Army.

The Spiritual Leader of Dawoodi Bohra community Dr. Sayyedna Mafadhal Saif-ud-Deen and his close associates are expected to arrive in a special flight. No date has been announced for their arrival as of yet.

Last year, the sect’s annual Ashara Mubaraka gathering was held here, drawing thousands of followers.
