Within 24-hour period the police had arrested 1490 persons who had violated the curfew orders. The police had also taken into their custody vehicles.
Since the curfew was imposed from 20th of March to 5th June the police have arrested 70,042 persons who had violated the curfew regulations and 19,856 vehicles had also been taken into custody.
Meanwhile, cases have been filed against 25,942curfew violators so far, the police said.
