Sri Lanka’s Embassy in Abu Dhabi has been temporarily closed , after five staff members were tested positive for COVID-19, the Ministry of Foreign Relations said.
The notice said: “Due to an emergency the Embassy is temporarily closed until further notice.”

The embassy further stated that, "We may not be able to answer all the calls right away due to the large volume of calls. We will call back within 24 hours. The Embassy encourages sending email as much as possible during the closure. We assure you of our best attention during this emergency period."
