Higher Education, Technology and Innovation, Information and Mass Media Minister Dr. Bandula Gunawardena yesterday presented a CD containing a new patriotic song on national revival penned by him to Army Commander Lt. Gen. Shavendra Silva, Head of the National Operation Centre for the Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO), at the Ananda Samarakoon Studio of the Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation. The song is performed by the Minister’s son Visharad Sahan Gunawardena, to music composed by Tharupathi Munasinghe. Lyricist Sunil Sarath Perera made the keynote address.
