Global cases exceed 3.6 million

More than 3.6 million Coronavirus cases have been reported globally, according to data from Johns Hopkins University, USA. The total number of deaths worldwide was over to 253,000. The United States leads in terms of global infections, reporting 1.1 million cases nationwide. Across the US, nearly 70,000 people have died due to the coronavirus pandemic. New York State has the largest number of cases in the USA.

Spain is next with 218,000 cases, Italy 213,000, UK 196,000, France 169,000, and Germany 166,000. Turkey has 130,000 cases. The UK has reported 29,500 deaths and Italy 29,300 deaths, Spain 25,400, France 25,200. There were 8,000 deaths in Belgium whole 7,000 people have died of COVID-19 in Brazil.

The number of deaths due to coronavirus reported in Iran has risen by 63 in the past 24 hours to reach 6,340, Health Ministry spokesman Kianush Jahanpur said in a statement on state TV on Tuesday.

The total number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in Iran has reached 99,970. Russia has reported 10,102 new coronavirus infections on Tuesday, bringing the total number of cases to 155,370. It’s the third day in a row that Russia has reported more than 10,000 new cases.

The country’s crisis response center said 1,451 people have now died from the virus. It said 4.4 million tests have been carried out.

Indonesia has reported its biggest daily rise in coronavirus infections Tuesday with 484 new cases. That takes the country’s total number of cases to 12,071.
