Due to the Colombo and Gampaha districts being identified as high-risk areas, the curfew currently in force will continue until further notice.
In all other districts (including Kalutara and Puttalam Districts) the curfew now in force will be lifted at 5am tomorrow (May 11) and will be re-imposed at 8pm.
The curfew in these districts will be in effect between 8.00 pm and 5.00 am every day until further notice.
The Colombo District and Gampaha District will commence operations tomorrow despite the curfew being in force. This decision to allow the business operations to commence has been taken to facilitate the recommencement of the economy, recommence the export trade and return public life to normalcly.
