Within 24-hour period the police had arrested 620 persons who had violated the curfew orders. The police had also taken into their custody 274 vehicles.
Since the curfew was imposed from 20th of March to 6.00 am 17th May the police have arrested 56,326 persons who had violated the curfew regulations and 15,490 vehicles had also been taken into custody.
Meanwhile, cases have been filed against 13,556 curfew violators so far, the police said.
