Within 24-hour period the police had arrested 528 persons who had violated the curfew orders. The police had also taken into their custody 150 vehicles.
Since the curfew was imposed from 20th of March to 6.00 am 22nd May the police have arrested 61,621 persons who had violated the curfew regulations and 17,322 vehicles had also been taken into custody.
Meanwhile, cases have been filed against 18,496 curfew violators so far, the police said.
