Within 24-hour period the police had arrested 515 persons who had violated the curfew orders. The police had also taken into their custody 152 vehicles.
Since the curfew was imposed from 20th of March to 6.00 am 23rd May the police have arrested 62,677 persons who had violated the curfew regulations and 17,612 vehicles had also been taken into custody.
Meanwhile, cases have been filed against 19,582 curfew violators so far, the police said.
