Army Commander Lt. General Shavendra Silva said that out of 25 cases 23 Navy personnel had tested positive for the Coronavirus yesterday.
The other two patients have been identified from quarantine centers.
Accordingly, the total number of COVID-19 positive patients in the country stands at 960.
Of them, 538 persons had made a full recovery and have been discharged from hospital.
