Owing to the prevailing health risk following the coronavirus pandemic, it is uncertain to commence schools as scheduled on May 11th, Education Ministry sources said.
It has been prescheduled to commence schools for the second academic term on May 11 after the sudden closure of schools following the finding of the first local COVID 19 case.
However, when concerning the prevailing health conditions caused by the coronavirus pandemic, it is uncertain to commence schools on May 11 and therefore the opening date may be postponed, the sources said.
Meanwhile starting date of universities will be informed later after considering the health condition.
Besides, extra classes including tuition classes are not allowed to conduct until further notice.
