The Embilipitiya Magistrate ordered to be self- quarantined at their residence for a period of 14 days, Sabaragamuwa Provincial Health Services Director Dr. Kapila Kannangara said.
TheEmbilipitiya Magistrate's husband is a Naval officer attached to the Welisara Naval Base and had been residing at the Magistrate's Quarters from April 12 to 20, while on leave, Dr. Kannangara said.
Although the Naval Officer has not contracted the coronavirus, as a precautionary measure the Magistrate is undergoing self-quarantine.
