Police set up disinfection measures

Sri Lanka Police under the directive of Acting Inspector General C.D Wickremaratne and leadership of Senior Deputy Inspector General Deshabandu Tennakkoon, have stepped up their efforts to disinfect public spaces in Colombo in an attempt to contain the spread of COVID-19.
 
Accordingly tear gas tankers were used to spray disinfectant while police officers on mobile ensured that public spaces were thoroughly flushed clean. This included the central bus stand, Maradana railway station, Fort railway station, Kochchikade church to name a few.
