The Health and Indigenous Medicine Services Ministry announced that pharmacies will be kept open during the curfew period.
Issuing a press release, the ministry said this decision was taken as the patients, who go to clinics and purchase medicine daily, have been inconvenienced due to the curfew.
The Ministry said the diagnosis card and the prescription would serve as pass during the curfew period.
It stated that the IGP has been informed of these measures.
The police have also been requested to allow the workers of pharmacies and vehicles transporting pharmaceutical drugs during the curfew.
