Polonnaruwa Special Task Force Officers seized a stock of T-56 ammunition, magazines and other goods abandoned at the 503 Kumburuyaya area in Aralaganwila.
The stock of weapons and goods were found in a fertilizer bag. It included, 135 rounds of rusted T-56 live ammunition, 04 rusted magazines, and 03 magazine springs were found in the bag.
The goods and the ammunition were handed over to the Aralaganwila Police.
Further investigations are being conducted.
