The MP who was sworn in to fill the seat vacant by United Peoples Freedom Alliance (UPFA) Rathnapura District MP Ranjith Soysa, Udagama Liyanage Waruna Priyantha Liyanage, joined the opposition ranks crossing the Chamber floor today.
MP Liyanage delivering his maiden speech in Parliament, rejected the Constitutional crisis. He used the anti-constitutional moves of the UPFA as an excuse to join the United National Party (UNP).
