Over 50,000 unemployed graduates, both internal and external, will receive employment by March 1, Minister of Education and Minister of Sports & Youth Affairs Dullas Alahapperuma said today.
"The degree course is immaterial and there is no requirement to be under 35 either. Six month training will be provided for every graduate with an assurance of employment. Those who were unable to get through the Ordinary Level exam will also be provided with a training period. According to the directive of President Gotabhya Rajapakse a separate institute will be established to look into the vacancies available” Minister Dullus Alahapperuma said at a news briefing held at the SLPP Office in Battaramulla.
