State Minister of Investment Promotion Keheliya Rambukwella and State Minister of Power & Energy Mahindananda Aluthgamage have been appointed as Government Spokesmen, Information and Communication Technology, Higher Education, Technology and Innovations and Co-Cabinet Spokesman Bandula Gunawardana said.
Addressing the weekly cabinet press briefing held at the Government Information Department Auditorium in Colombo today he said that information on non cabinet issues/subjects can be obtained from them on weekly basis.
The cabinet decisions will be announced by co-cabinet spokesmen as usual. Earlier Police Media Spokesman and Army Spokesman appointed in order to communicate information to the country and to the journalists swiftly, he said.
